Capability Analysis Calculator

Capability Analysis provides an assessment of a processes ability to meet the requirements placed on it.

This spreadsheet allows the user to test normality of your data (Anderson-Darling test). Additionally, based on the results, the spreadsheet also performs Ppk analysis.

The Ppk analysis also includes confidence intervals for the Ppk values. If the data is not normal, the spreadsheet will calculate Empirical Process Capabilty, Cnpk. http://www.itl.nist.gov/div898/software/dataplot/refman2/auxillar/cnpk.htm

Please note, at least 100 samples are needed for calculating Cnpk.

The spreadsheet also allows the user to calculate the confidence interval for the Cnpk using bootstrap analysis. The user can do up to 1000 simulations.

The product includes the Excel-based calculator, and sample Ppk, Cnpk and Normality Tests.
